Well, 2 things Daglish can bring to the job imo:
1) reunite the fans and bring back the excitement to home games
2) rejuvenate the players and bring new ideas to the table..
Players like Cole, Babel, Jovanovic, Poulsen havent lived up to expectations for whatever reason... Atleast 2 of those players have proven over the years to be capable of playing at a higher level and could prove to be useful if utilized properly...
I'm not sure Kenny would bring drastic changes from day1 in terms of tactics and setup but the least i would expect is improvement in terms of motivation and general match preparation..
Like i said in the other thread, I dont believe this would work as a long term thing... We should really be looking to bring someone in with modern thoughts on how the game should be played.. Times have moved on and playing a 4-4-2 requires having a very balanced squad with players comfortable with the roles assigned to them.. sadly we dont have that and as such i expect us to go back to playing a 4-5-1 safer approach with more emphasis on getting the basics right...
Lets be honest here, he's been out of the game for a long long time now and Im not entirely sure what to expect in terms of tactics and specific instruction to players... Hopefully, we get things right and we improve from this point on...

Its a shame Gary McAllister isn't available, I think he would make a great no 2 for Kenny.
With buying players, I think Kenny will have only a small role to play as Damian C is the man who buys the players now

His 'aura' alone should give the players a lift.
It would be an honour to play for a legend like Kenny.
