I think the signing of Sterling is somewhat of a coup for Liverpool but the club needs to work with him to ensure he does not become one of those 'top prospects' who disappear without a trace. This lad does seem to have a lot of potential so lets hope he can make it at Anfield.

its just generally good to see more youngsters being brought into the team, all the better that he looks like has plenty of potential, and when he's good we sell gold and get the moolah

Let's not get 5-10 years ahead of ourselves, the only youngsters being 'brought into the team' are benchwarmers, infrequent at that and probably muster less appearances between them than someone like Kuyt or Reina who are ever-presents.

well we will see if we have any postal gold complaints about him, but im not saying hes gonna be making loads of appearances in the first team, even in the future, but i still think its good that a young kid is at least given the chance and has been signed, nothing more than that

Not really excitied , if we were in the league cup or fa cup he could have been thrown into the deep and see if he has the obvious talent

reminds me of a young John Barnes...pity we'll have to wait 2-3 years to see if he's up to it.

yeah he's only 15 and in that video he's playing against 17 year olds that are twice his size.

he seems like he's developed very quickly and he is very two footed at only 15.. this kid is a major prospect i tellz ya

Well .. the last time I was excited by a footballing display was that of Diego.. Maradona - evertime he got the ball I expected and knew something special could happen

And here we have a 'dream footballer' in the making   - didn't know about the lad before today and from reading in the thread looks like others were interested so well done to Rafa's Academy for getting him.. looking to the future we could have ourselves a world beater !
