FA Youth Cup final date confirmed

The FA Youth Cup final between Liverpool and Manchester City will take place on Thursday April 25.

Kick-off at City's Academy Stadium is scheduled for 7.45pm BST and the game will be shown live on BT Sport.

After a change in the competition format this season, the tie will be one leg only with extra-time and penalties if necessary.

Bump. Tune in if you get the chance.

Neil Kritchley has left Liverpool u23s to become Blackpool's head coach. A shame really, he was doing pretty well with the youngsters. Good luck to him.

Apparently there are calls for Xabi Alonso to be given the job but he’s managing a team in the Spanish 3rd division. Can’t see him leaving a gig like that to run an U23 team.

Good luck to Critchley. Seemed a well liked bloke. Blackpool is a mess of a club so he's taken on a massive task.

Pretty sure Barry Lewtas (U18s manager) will get promoted to lead the U23s.

I suspect Critchley is destined for greater things in the medium/long term. Blackpool is a stepping stone.
