The derby cant come quick enough for me, fellaini is banned for the league and FA Cup game.
So that nuisance is out the picture they will come for a draw 10 men behind the ball same tactics as Stoke will be employed by the bog eyed mongrel.

4-4-2 please rafa cant wait for Alonso to come back we should have to much for them we cannot afford another draw.

Haven't seen much of this guy Felliani but it sounds like he has made himself a major Everton and he'll be missed.

I am sure the players wish the game was tomorrow and not next Monday after all the other teams have played (and we could be off the top of the league and under more pressure than we have been recently!!).

I know every one bangs on about must wins games but this is THE MUST WIN OF SEASON not only cos its the bitters but if we lose this we have no chance of title this year.

Best 11 no stupid tactics 4-4-2 mark them man for man and go for it.

Torres and keane start please.

Any win will do but I would like a 3-0 drubbing.

I think we'll see the same line-up/set-up from when we turned them over at woodison. I'd expect him to play;

                    Reina

Arbeloa     Carra    Agger    Aurelio

Kuyt       Gerrard   Alonso     Riera

               Keane    Torres

For this game if a choice between Babel and Bennyoun i would choice Babel.

The reasons for this choice is Babel will attack the flanks and Benny will be bullied
and dribble himself into the ground when cutting inside on a constant basis.

We will win this one if the team is right,no motivation needed the players know the score.

wow..
never thought id say this but.... i agree with you..

maybe have hyypia in there for agger only for the high balls but besides that we dont seem to have many other options for the positions... benny has been sht mostly, same for mascherano, lucas and babel.... give kuyt a shot at the right midfield slot because i think thats their main danger and we'll have to close them down fast and hard from there...

After Stoke and all the negative publicity over the last few weeks the players will be right up for this, even more than they would usually be for a derby.

We are going to absolutley murder them!!!!!!!!

I can see Rafa going to 4-5-1, hopefully I'm wrong.

4-4-2, same lineup as scott put out, though I would drop Kuyt for benayoun.

Well the mongrels and their conspiracy theories reckon Rafa rang Martin Atkinson to get microphone head banned for the two derbies.

Not feeling really confident about this game.  We should beat them easily but our team is just too inconsistent lately.  I just hope that Alonso's back, because we looked very average without him against Stoke.

No 2 ways about it, this is a must win game. Anichebe is there only striker, Fellaini is out so we have a slight advantage going into the game, although all that goes out the window with it being a derby. Best 11, Keane an Torres up front, Babel on the wing running at them, lets get a convincing win under out belt and set out on another roll, not a better place to start than against the bitters.
