Just read this on the BBC live text printer, it really tickled me...

1411: "All this talk of a title race has got me thinking of a 100m sprint between Benitez, Ferguson and Scolari. That would be a sight to behold."

NO.

Not until Rafa can learn how to beat the smaller teams.

Yet again this weekend we see the worst of Rafa.

I still maintain that we have the squad to do it...... We just need to make sure we play the best players instead of what we've been doing. Am seriously disappointed with the result against Stoke.

I watched the game on replay and we didn't do ourselves any favours.... playing a 4-5-1 isn't being very ambitious but to put kuyt to spearhead the attack was seriously misguided.

hmm I'd have to go with Ferguson in that race much as I still think he is by far the best prem manager of the three and therefore best manager full stop, as the prem is the ultimate test.

then we would of won 4-0, right?
then we would be 6 points clear at this moment in time, and everyone would be as happy as larry???

Well there would be less reason to whinge if he played his strongest team wouldn't there. Whats the point in paying 20Mil for a striker if you hardley use him.

torres, keane, babel... thats around 60 worth of striker on the bench....
to top it he starts with prolific goal machine dirk kuyt upfront on his own... taking riera off when the left side was the only thing that was remotely posing any danger ?!

gimme a break that game he just got it wrong all together...

this isnt a game thread i know... so back to topic...

if hes going to keep managing the way he is atm.. i dont really think it matters who we have in our squad... i mean keane didnt even get a minute out there and we had an unused sub.... cant imagine in a million years any decent manager doing that when playin a relegation threatened side ad while being top of the table with the thinnest of margins..

you are nice poster. always spot on

Don't think so.  We had a lot off form players out there yesterday and another big reason for our poor performance was the absence of Alonso.  We just don't move the ball around so well without him.  It's not just a coincidence that when he came back last season, we started to win games.  Even when he's off form, Alonso is still one of our most important players.

Yes we can and will win the league
Yes we need Rafa to do it.
Yes he should have picked differently yesterday maybe but are you lot saynig the team he put out was not good enough to beat Stoke?

Stoke FFS... he didn't risk torres so close after coming back and Keane... yeah he should have played Keane but didn't... but we had the players to win.

And Bilic or Rikard come here please? You should be fricking ashamed of yourself. We are in a better position than we have been in fecknig years, we won the champs league with him in the best final in the history of the cup.
When will you feckers be happy???
