It shouldbe noted that if anyone gets on Rafa's wrong side - remember Pako !

Raffa's the gaffa and if Sammy is sensible he'll know to remember that.

I am presuming that Nando wasn't fit for tonights game as at seems, which sort of throws this thread out of the window now doesn't it, as this means he wasn't fit on sat. Which is brilliant.

I like Sammy and I hope he can form a good partnership with Rafa and bring us the league title.

I am very happy that the story seems to have been b0ll0cks.

If Torres wanted to play this game badly, and Torres hasn't played this it's logic to think that Torres was not fit enough for yesterday.

If Torres wasn't fit yesterday, it's logic to think that he wasn't fit on Saturday either.

If Torres wasn't fit on saturday either, it's logic to think that news regarding an unhappy Sammy Lee because Torres was fit were total bóllocks, no matter if the news were released in the Beeb or Sky.

Yet another attempt to unsettle Liverpool football club from the media.

Of course, it's still possible that Torres was fit for saturday and for yesterday aswell, and he didn't play because we should win easy... but I don't think that's more likely than saying it was just yet another cráppy piece of journalism.

I have a suspicion Torres may not have been too keen to play his former club last night. While he might have willed on Liverpool to win, might it not be hard for him to be the one who won it? Somewhat different, like standing aside and letting someone else commit murder but not being the one who pulls the trigger.

lol yeah for real..  Every player still has something for thier previous club but they all are professionals and concentrate on thier current club.. It was better anyway that torres didnt play his not 100% and playing him could have cost of heavily if he strained himself again. He should be back for the weekend i hope

I think you could tell by Torres Reactions last night where his heart is now - he will prob always have a soft spot for Madrid but the lad is Liverpool Thru and Thru now
