Before that, I'd like Maguskwt clarify something to me, or anyone:

I said "what a tunnel has made mascherano to Giggs". And Magus told me what was that

It's to pass the ball between the legs of a player, probably the most offensive action you can do to a player at least in latin cultures -- many red cards come because the player that received the tunnel then does a nasty tackle in revenge.

How do you call tunnels in english? is it as offensive as around here?

Thanks for the translation with the pic sabre... a couple of people on here translated correctly before your official translation  :D ... in english it's called a 'nutmeg' ... and I think it's just as embarrassing almost everywhere if i'm not wrong but probably in latin cultures they would take more offense... btw it seems like our new spaniard boy riera likes to do alot of those tunnels...  :D

"OMG, Skrtel just tunneled right through Rooney. Really hard!"

Yeah, that sounds like something he'd do.

Best thing about yesterday for me was, that we went a goal down very early on ,but we never gave up and didn't run out of idea's . We weren't lost after plan A failed , we did have other options and we fought all the way. We made the possesion count and we looked a threat .The other players stepped up to the mark and showed we are not a one man or two man team and can cope without Gerrard and or Torres.

We must build on this good start to the season and keep it going , keep the pressure up on the other three and give ourselves a chance . A win against Stoke is a must now .

All this with Xabi and Mascherano in the middle aswell, I'm sure someone on here was saying how they should never play together in a flat four midfield...

:D

:censored: made up with that result yesterday.

Dominated the game ever since we gave the goal away (which was Arbeloa's fault for getting drawn to the ball by the way - not Skrtel's fault as I've heard some people say).

Mascherano and Alonso were immense, and yes Stu I have been quoted in the past as saying they can't play together  .  I still maintain they're not our best pairing, especially against teams we should be beating and need a bit of a goal threat from midfield, but they worked a treat against United.

Riera had a good debut, Kuyt had a good game and Keane was instrumental in our win by defending from the front and putting pressure on them in possession.

Thought Aurelio was sh.it as usual.  Gave the ball away plenty of times and his delivery from open play and from set pieces was disgraceful.  Apart from him everyone played well.

United were awful, their formation/tactics weren't right.  They weren't sharp and the high tempo pressure game we played worked a treat.

Let's enjoy this one, :censored: class :buttrock
