Based on the above , who would your player of the season be? I'd only put it choices for players who i think made a difference over the course of the season .

2.) Reina
3.) Gerrard (2 and 3 are really close, but Reina won so i'll give him 2nd)
4.) Masch

, Well it should be that time of the month for u and i hate to burst your bubble but i can't vote but if i could my players ranked in top 5 would be

Torres - need i say more? Broke van horse face record , threw the jinx of us not scoring at stamford bridge outta the window

Gerrard - Captain Fantastic as ever , 21 goals and 23 assist i think

Masch - Monster , played 90 % of his games well but there were certain games where he mistimed his tackles and he's young so he will learn with time

Hypia - How many off us were writing him off after the two goals in a week? The big finn has proven all of us wrong with a great season

Kuyt - Top scocrer for us in the cl , work hard against every team and has been good since moving to the wing , 7 assist in the league and 11 goals in total , not bad for a striker who's had no time to adapt to his new winger role

Three outstanding candidates this season, Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano, with Torres head and shoulders in first place.

My three most disappointing players would be Riise, Pennant, Voronin - Kuyt just managing to escape being nominated by a decent end of season. Riise who I have always liked takes the booby prize after a forgettable season.

Torres takes it by a country mile for me!

Twelve months ago when he was first linked with us I said no way should we sign him. We'd get very few goals from him and he'd be spending as much time on his backside as Drogba.
Boy was I wrong and I'm well happy to say that!!
El Nino has been nothing short of a breath of fresh air to our forward line hopefully it'll continue to be like that for a good few years to come.

My 2nd and 3rd places would go to Masha and Reina respectively.
Masha has come in and made the midfield his own for the past 18 months and apart from the red card from that manc Bennett hasn't really put a foot wrong.
Pepe Reina has claimed the golden gloves for a 2nd time and for me it's hard to find a better keeper in the league.

By far the worst player this season has been Voronin. Some players may not be the most gifted or consistent but they do have a saving grace of some sort about them. Not Voronin, he's consistently bad and brings very little to the team. I pray Rafa ships him and his stupid pony tail out this summer.

Has to be Torres. No one in their wildest dreams could have imagined the impact that he has made in his first season. Absolute quality.

Onto next season, defenders etc will now know a bit more about him and the way he plays. He'll need to be ready for it though i'm certain Rafa will have arealy told him this.

I'm also certain that again, he'll be immense next season.

I got a call a few minutes ago from Mascherano threatening that he'd get me if I didn't vote for him.

I said I had already voted for Torres.

Masch said "you're a dead man Manhattan.....a dead man!"

its an absolute non contest isn't it! nobody in their right mind is going to put anyone other than voronin... er sorry, i mean torres.

the poll should be like the 'premiership winners not including the top 4' type option the bookies encourage us to bet on. lfc player of the season that wasn't fernando torres then - for me its a toss up between gerrard, mascherano and skrtel.
