The ones that scare me the most is Charlton follwed by Birmingham away then Boro.

We'll take a point from highbury, we'll probably beat united, we'll do Newcastle on the last day and i think we'll goose Blackburn this weekend.

You're an optimistic man, Stu!

I wouldn't be too confident of beating UTD, but I do think we'll get a result at Highbury.

Arsenal haven't had many hairy moments this season and we are due a good result.

we've taken more points off arsenal than any other premiership team. our record down there is very good. i don't know if having 5 out of 8 games at home is a blessing or a curse?

I think around 15 out of 24 is what we will get. We should get more.

I think the Highbury game is nicely set up for us to go there and get something concrete out of the game. Arsenal will be knackered at that stage, probably Champions elect anyway, and concentrating on the FA Cup and CL.

Its hard to say with Man UTD.

They'll have their CL spot and they might not be up for the game, and that could play into our hands. On the other hand, UTD might play openly and in a very carefree manner and if we had a bad day they could pick us off.

just looked at newcastles final 8 games and i have to say that i can realistically seeing them only picking up 8-10 points.
they have:

everton (h)  w
southampton (a) d
aston villa (a) d
chelsea (h) l
man city (a) l
wolves (h) w
arsenal (h) l
liverpool (a)

I don't know, Newcastle are very strong at home.

Thierry Henry reckons the hardest away game all season is Newcastle at St. James' Park.

Southampton away will be a tricky one for them, though, as well Man City and Villa.

Newcastle go from being a CL quality team at home to a relegation haunted side away, and while they would whip Villa at St. James' its an entirely different story away.

i live in the north east and i have to say that newcastle fans are feeling exactly the way we are at the moment. both teams are underachieving to the same extent. both teams have similar problems this season in that the managers just can't motivate their players on a regular basis.

If there is ever gona be a chance for the team to get their act together, it's these last 8 games. We've been playing s**t and yet we're still in 4th. 12/24 points is the least we should look for. And I do think we'll get it. :O

the fact we're 4th is an absolute joke in all fairness. we MUST win our home games at least. whatever we get away is a bonus. anymore stupid slip ups and we could end up not qualifying for europe whilst the likes of middlesbrough and sunderland/millwall qualify. that would be unthinkable.

Why is being 4th a joke?

Man Utd are the worlds biggest and richest club with possibly one of the best managers ever in the english game. Chelsea can match Uniteds wealth with there sugar daddy and have bought a stupid amount of class players and Arsenal this season are probably one of the best sides in europe with immense class and haven't lost in the league. So why the f##k is it a joke that we are 4th?

We don't have a devine right to finish first.

Don't sit there an start spouting all this sh##e about Houllier having enough money because £114 million isn't enough compared to what United and Chelsea spend. They spend huge amounts on players and have had numorous £10m + players where as we've had 2 so far. Houllier has had to sign a squad with that money, Ranieri and Ferguson have had that as small change to blow on 3 or 4 world class players. As i've said in the past... when you are spending £3m-£5m on players its inevitable you are going to make mistakes and get players that aren't going to make the grade and may never fulfill there potential. A player with proven class will cost more than a player with potential.
