It's a very "lean and mean" looking stadium where stands and crosswalks seem to be "hanging" rather than sitting on giant blocks of concrete.

And that's good, because it may cut the construction time down.

Halfway up The Kop, and it comes halfway along, I can't make out whether they are wheelchair spaces or boxes.

Also It reminds me of the comment "space for 1000 people in suits" which means there is a good chance they may be boxes.

It would be the end of the Kop if they are boxes and what a sad day it would be for the fans of Liverpool football club.

They're wheelchair spaces i believe. No vip boxes on the Kop.

Even if they did have Exec. Boxes in the Kop, I don't think it's a problem.

The revenue those boxes would generate would be welcome.

Money matters. No one can fight it, so we either go along with it or be swept aside.

Sabre wrote:I love the design. The only thing it rised a question is the amount of entrances to the stands, there seem to be too few for the huge size of some stands, which could lead to long queues at the end of the game or problems in case you have to evacuate the stadium.

But I'm not an expert on this and I'm just comparing to other big stadiums, they have probably studied the problem thoroughly.

Can't pretend to know the ins and outs of it Sabre but given our history "health and safety" would be a prime factor when considering the design . I'm sure all relevant agencies would have been consulted . I think any stadium has to be inspected by services like the Fire Brigade before it is issued with a certificate allowing it to open to the public.

That part of the stadium can be extended if necessary.
