What do you think about the F.A. Cup - is it still a major part of the season, if not - why?

What does the F.A. Cup mean to you as a L'pool fan?
Which would you rather win - F.A. Cup, League Cup, Premiership or the Champions League?
Obviously you want to win them all, but put them in order of preference - 1. Premiership, 2. Chamions League 3. F.A. Cup. 4. League Cup

One way of boosting the prestiege of the FA Cup would be to add £6 or 7million to the kitty for the winner. Money talks in modern football and if there was a huge purse for the winner clubs would take it very seriously.

With sponsorship that kind of money should be raised easily.

Another suggestion a few years back was to give the winner a champions League spot. UEFA dismissed the idea, but what about giving the winner a chance of qualifying for the CL by putting them in among the pre-qualifiers for the CL? i.e they would have to go through 3 qualifying rounds for the CL.

However, if you do that for the FA Cup Spain, Germany and Italy would cry murder.

If UEFA don't give a Champion's League place to the winner of the FA Cup, it will continue to decline.

It's a shame and a disgrace that U.E.F.A. hold 4th place as an achievement above winning the oldest cup competition in the world.

The draw has sucked this season consistently

Liverpool vs Newcastle
Chelsea vs Arsenal
Man Utd vs Chelsea

We lost to lowly Pompey but three top Premiership teams will have been knocked out by another before the Final. It is unfortunate, but there has also been a high proportion of all Premiership ties as well. I think few clubs risk disrespecting the FA Cup, this season has lost a little of its appeal nonetheless
