I don't think anyone likes playing with him either.

well he didnt really squeeze any compensation out of us, i am sure liverpool were happy with the contract stating that if they choose to sell the player he must be compensated or his contract paid up, however if bellamy asks for the move then there should be no compo.

standard footballers contract nowdays i think

especially John Arne Riise

I'm not upset to see Bellamy go, especially for 7.5 mill. With Cisse gone as well now, we have an extra 15mill to go and buy another player, looks like Ryan Babel (13.5 mill)

With several of the deadwood gone, we need to get rid of the rest of pointless players, i.e. Gonzalez/Aurellio

Sad to see him go. Ridiculous decision imo..The lad was not given enough chance by the manager!!!wish him well.

in all defense of aurelio i thought, before his injury, that the guy was playing well. Chelsea at home just before the injury he was awesome. gets forward at right times and has shown crossing ability. I agree he may have something to prove but give the lad a chance. With gonzo its another story. Maybe a deal with him going back to spain where he was good may be on the cards i.e gaby milito for money+gonzo.

Glad to see him go to be honest, Rafa doesn't mess about like Houllier...if you arent up to the standard out you go! Finally Rafa is able to buy quality, like Torres and Babel rather than Bellamy and Zenden...The future is bright lads!

I Certainly would not call Aurellio a pointless player. Infact just before his injury i would say he was our best left sided player and i'm really hoping he recovers from his injury well enough to play an important part of this season.

same here...thought he was a handy player. But it was a good bit of business and he's not bad mouthed the club either, which some were expecting.
