hmmm, dont you think those changes are a bit drastic? all we need is a CB for hyypia, left or right mid and a striker, i think we have the talent here already in other positions, i dont want rafa buying plkayers cos we have the money, (although he wouldnt do that anyway) if we have too many players in the same positions i think it would only upset the camp

It's like shouting in the desert, but once again, I'll shout: NO TORRES PLEASE!!! HE'S NOT A GOOD FINISHER. He makes good goals too watch, but fails too many, doesn't work enough, he's quite a diver and he doesn't manage well with tough-strong markers.

Reina
Finnan Carra Agger
Mascherano Alonso/momo
Alves/pennant Gerrard Aurellio/Kewell
eto'o kuyt/bellamy/crouch
And if we have the money to get one of: Simao, Quaresma, Vicente, Joaquin we should
wouldnt mind also bringing in one of: Berbatov, tevez, ashton, bent, and change that to a need if we cannot bring in eto'o or villa
Also should look at woodgate, Bale, Kompany, and richards
And I know I say this a lot but I would love to see Lindfield, Anderson, Hobbs, Guthrie and Hammill get legit shots to earn 1st team action.
Seems like a lot of money but if the 40 million pound kitty is true AND any money that we get from selling goes into that as well (Cisse, Zenden, Fowler, dudek, Sami?, Bellamy? FSP) we could land 3-4 guys that average around 12-15 mill

Team same as this year, but with:
A new leftback (If Aurelio's injury proves detrimental to his career.)
A new left winger (As Harry is always injured)
Pablo Aimar (As without Garcia we have no-one with flair.)
David Villa, as he's currently the best striker in Europe.
Villa was reported as saying LFC is the only club in England he'd go to, and Pepe Reina is his best mate.
Makes you wonder...

This is exactly what happened last year when we got a glut of new players and then struggled to blend them in initially. That and the World Cup too. So I don't think we should be going for bulk changes this time. Next season is probably our best bet to make a serious effort for the Premiership. No major tournament (Euro only in 2008) and we already have a decent enough squad size. So what we would need is maybe 2-3 more additions only. I personally think in terms of squad players, we have enough already. So whoever Rafa brings in has to be able to fit right into the first team. We need quality signings (goes without saying innit?).
