i honestly feel that we, Liverpool FC, are still on our resurgence into greatness! people have been throwing genuine and quite reasonable concerns about a possible buyout. however i feel that the buyout if done correctly which i think it will be otherwise Rafa would probably walk (he strikes me as a man full of principle and character) will be the final bulb planted in our garden of growing glory!
time for a metaphor, imagine a garden of red with the right financial backing, proper hard work and team ethic dominating the chelsea flower show. it would be glorious, and it is coming!

i for one cannot wait for the Liverpool to become a dominant force once again across the footballing park like the 70s and 80s! but its now and times have changed, money opens doors, i dont like as much as the next fan but i think it will help us alot.

sorry for the spam

Ian

Yes this is a good week for the greatest club in English footbal. Istanbul was magical and the FA Cup was also great but when it has come dow to our bread and butter our domestic form has shown that we are behind teams like Man Utd and Chelsea. But now we will finally have a platform by which to challange them on and off the pitch.

Also I think we will do better financially than Chelsea in the long run as Liverpool being the historic club they are, they are more of a marketable asset. Unfortunatley we never really cashed in our sucess during the 70s and 80s but at least now we have the means to do it.

This matched with a great honest manager in Benitez and I think we have a good reason to get excited.

All Hail The Emirates!!!

By that, I mean the Arab nation, not the airline or stadium.

I to am very excited about the future of this club now, i always thought we would make progress under Rafa now im sure we will once again dominate the football world. We are a good team now with a few top draw players: Reina Carra Agger Alonso Gerrard Kewell(when fit) Sissoko Kuyt Bellamy(will prove a great buy in my opion) Crouch with alot of promising youngsters: Gonzalez Paletta Pennant Anderson etc
Imagine adding a few world class players to this lot.
Ive not mentioned Finnan Hyypia and Fowler because they are on the way out (sad but to)
