I am glad the funeral will be Tuesday as it will give me time to post the banner onto Karen.

I will post some pictures of it if you like wit hthe autographs of the players on.

I cant make it Tuesday, but I wanna contribute towards the flowers and I would also like to make a donation if the paypal thing can be resurrected.

Ciggy and Zara - ignore my last PM as its irrelevant now, I can post it in plenty of time.

I'll be making every effort to be there but won't know until Monday evening when my calls for Tuesday are given to me. As my area includes the Stoke On Trent area I'll be doing my utmost to be posted there for any morning calls (I'm a  Service Engineer) which will then release me to attend during an extended lunch break.........

On the flowers Zara I like the Yellow ones but whatever you think best hun...........

Top man Leon, as always.

This is the banner that reads, 'DrummerPhil YNWA', which Leon had made-up for the Cup Final and manged to get it signed by all the players too.

It will be sent to Karen, to allow her to bury it with Phil, as she wished.

Look forward to seeing the pictures of it on here fella.

Also.. just to let you all know I ordered the lilac flowers (large) yesterday.

Image

Karen said that lilac was Phil's favorite colour, so I left them in lilac.

This is the message :

You were an inspiration and friend to us all.
We'll never forget you, dear Phil.
From all your friends on the
  Liverpool Football Club, Newkit Forum
               YNWA
                  x

The flowers will be delivered to the funeral directors on the morning of the funeral, accompanying 'our' Phil to his final resting place.

Also Liverpool Football Club sent a letter of condolence to Karen. Thank you, once again, to the club for responding so promptly.
