Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

My thoughts are with Karen & family.

As sad a day as this is for all who were touched by Phil--especially Karen and the kids--I take comfort knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is in a better place.

I'm not very good at putting things down in words, so i'll just say that a whitty, intelligent and good man has been taken from a world ,that sadly needs more of his kind still here.

The world is a poorer place for the loss of Drummerphil.

RIP mate , my thoughts will always be with you and your loving Wife and family.

Goodnight and God bless. Andy and family.

"When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be".

goodnight and god bless Phil.

The Pride of You'll Never Walk Alone

I hear You'll Never Walk Alone
Goose bumps come with a chill
I try to hold back the tears
But I know I never will.

There's something about our song
That brings on a feeling
With hope in your heart
I find my senses reeling.

He walked through a storm
He's drifting through the air
I know he's in heaven
Where no stadium can compare.

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE   :bowdown   :hearts

Shocked to log on & see this.

Never spoke directly with the man, but often laughed at some of his posts & admired the wisdom of others.

Newkit's lost a legend.

Saddened to say the least to read this news today.
My deepest sympathies to Karen & the family, it was plain to see from his recent sig that they were everything to him.

Phil your suffering is at an end may you Rest In Peace.
He never once complained or asked for sympathy on this forum and his thoughts were always of how his lovely wife and children were doing before himself. Drummer you have gained the never ending respect of so many people on here and I am proud to have read your posts, they always brightened this forum up. Now this place will be a little darker for your sad leaving of us.

God bless DRUMMER PHIL a Newkit legend.
