LFC.tv finally confirm it as a loan deal

Florent Sinama Pongolle has today completed a loan move to Spanish outfit Recreativo de Huelva.
The agreement will see Pongolle registered to play for the La Liga side until June 30, 2007.

Pongolle signed for Liverpool in 2002 but has never really established himself as a regular first teamer.

With Craig Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler all ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield, manager Rafael Benitez was happy for his young French striker to spend this season playing in Spain's top division.

Pongolle, who has previously had a loan spell with Le Havre, spent the final months of last season at Blackburn Rovers.
