I didn't check the dictionary, but wtf? if logically and historically exist, I just thought footballistically had to exist also in english.  It makes sense  :D

Personalistically, I agree with you, Sabre but, grammaristically, I think you're out of luck!  :D

Pongolle's time here has passed.  Good player, but when he went to Blackburn and couldn't dislodge Paul Dickov from his starting spot, I think that told us just about all we needed to know about Pongolle's credentials as a serious force in the Premiership.  That loan move was his last chance saloon and unfortunately he didn't take it.

He's got no chance here with Fowler, Crouch, Bellamy and now Kuyt in front of him.  And even at that players like Garcia and Kewell when fit would probably be picked ahead of him as a forward.  I still think he has a chance to go on and get caps for the French team in the future if he makes the right career choices, but he's not going to make it in the Premiership.

*sigh* Koffi Annan? you're a (censored) :D

I'll keep an eye on FPS and will make updates about him in the proper thread. I'm afraid Recreativo plays with just one striker. IMO FPS is a good second striker, not sure how he'll manage in that kind of "isolated striker-deep defence-reach-once-per-half" team.

The forward will spend the entire season at the Estadio Nuevo Colombino but the terms of the agreement contain no option of a permanent deal, meaning he will return to Liverpool next summer.

BTW Marca says it's not a loan, but a signing of one year, plus another optional one.

http://www.marca.com/edicion....11.html

They don't have credibility, but just in case, is the original article on this thread from liverpool echo or any other reliable source?

I've checked the Recreativo de Huelva site, and they say the same thing ...

The original article was from Sky Sports. LFC.tv haven't said anything about the deal at all yet.

Nah, mate...that's our very own Steve Bruce: Sabre!  :D

As to the Marca report, Sabre--Soccernet implied that it was a one-year deal (with an option for a 2nd year) rather than a loan as well.

At least he will be in the team weak out. Probarbly couldent find a permenant move were he was guranteed first team football, this year will be about earning a permamnt move to a decent side by impressing, good luck Pongo, hope you get what you want.

I saw the Manure match live from my parts of the world but did not see FSP's smile and high five with Evra as posted by St. Mick.

He is better off being loaned out and sold eventually as he was never going to be more than a fringe player under Benitez's charge. Good luck, FSP.

As for Diao, his departure could not have come any sooner.
