Wasn't danny murphy good last season? - If not, why don't they use him?

Are you taking the p#ss?

He's a decent player and has 6 goals so far this season.

I'd rather he was in the team than Le Tallec or Cheyrou at the minute.

Yes Murphy would not be the answer to all our problems ( didn't someone compare him to Platini ) but he offers a lot more to the team than Cheyrou , Le Tallec and Diouf.
He is also pretty good at taking penalties .........

i'm a danny murphy fan i have to admit. he's technically good which makes up for his general lack of pace. not england class though. i just wish houllier would stop playing him right wing which is not his position.

With Hamann and Gerrard fixtures in the centre, Murphy has to play wide right or make limited appearances as sub or injury replacement. He should have taken the penalty yesterday though.......
