Nice to see Daniel Agger getting a mention. I was beginning to wonder if Rafa still remembered him .

Agger is very much in Rafa's long term plans. I can't help but think Rafa is going for a 3 man defence this year with Carra, Hyppia, Agger and Palletta all vying for places. I watched Agger v's Newcastle last season on the left hand side of a 3 man defence. He was class. I think this is a formation we will see more this coming season.

Interesting (if correct) . That would suggest a 352 line up for lfc next season , unless Rafa throws the book outta the window and we go 343

i doubt this will be the formation next season, but it doesn't look that bad at all.

I know I've missed some players out, (e.g. Finnan, Aurelio, Kewell, Gonzalez, Bolo, Fowler) but that would only be from this example 3-5-2. My point is that it looks like Rafa will have plenty of options.
