What are you smoking, mate?  ???   You would seriously consider the above players for Liverpool?  You're having a laugh.

They are great on those fantasy football games.

Well not all of them but im sue Ferdinand would be a good prospect. And vander Meye is agreat player. He is ust playing for a :censored: club.

Kind of like D Allessandro playing for Portsmouth.

Everyone talks up Ferdinand but he's looked distinctly ordinary when I've watched him play.  Plus, with his big brother as his mentor I'm sure he'll soon learn the value of switching off at crucial times, missing mandatory drug tests and focusing more on the London party circuit than football.  :D  Seriously, though, I don't think he's what we're looking for at centre back down the road.

As for Van Der Meyde--it's not just that he's playing for a sh!te team.  He has been sh!te himself.  He's done nothing for Everton this season and that's saying something given their array of 'talent'.  Granted he's had injuries but he's been hugely anonymous when he has played.  Either he seriously can't be a.rsed or he's past it.  Either way, there are much better options for us on the right than him.

Who then would you suggest Stu ?

There was talk of a Drio Srna where the president of the team (one of the Moscow ones i think) came forward and said "Liverpool has planted the seed" or something very similar. I never heard anything of him after that.

Obviously there is Joaquin and SWP but both would be out of our price range.

Pennant may just have to do.

Personally i am a fan of Malbranque but he strikes me as a moaner and not a team player. Talanted never the less.
