Yer he was a nice guy. I remember back when I first joined when I had my thing with Stu he was in my corner and I didnt even really chat to him that much at the time.
RIP friend!
I bet he is chuffed as hell watching down on how the team is playing at the moment!

Fond memories of a much loved, cherished and sorely missed member of this forum.
Phil touched the lives of people on here without ever meeting them in person. His wit and sense of parody was priceless and although he didn't normally tolerate fools he made an exception for many of us on here !
I miss the man as a friend,as a fellow red and a remarkable example to all who are prone to complaining about their lot.
It wasn't until the last few months of his life that he revealed his illness on here but he was already a legend by then. His candid honesty and true bravery spoke volumes for the type of man he was.
His like don't come around that often. We were touched by greatness.
Never Forgotten. R.I.P Fella ............

Touched me that mate.
So true, how we grumble about little things and Karen and the kids are without a huge part of there lives.
The things we take for granted that we can so easily loose.
