I joined this forum to late to know Phil, but i have always believed that a man can be best measured by how those who knew him remember him when he has gone. Looking at the post left in the drummerphil thread all i can say is he must have been a very very special man.
My thoughts go out to his family on this day.

I was never a part of these boards when the fella was about, so I never knew him. However, I have taken the time to read through the ordeal and it puts certain things in your own life into perspective, although loss is something we all inevitably have in common, grief that is only made possible by something that every single one of us share in common - we all love someone. It's the lifeblood of any living soul, and like the Sun in the sky, we can't survive without it.

R.I.P Phil.

I like Emerald Red dedicated a couple of hours to read the whole ordeal and am devastated to learn what you endeared.

I hope you carry many happy memories and i'm sure he is very proud of you and the kids.

The boys doing it for you Phil
