If that was just a blip, then we can keep going, but if the lads genuinely are getting knackered then Man U away could bring the run to an end.

If I were Rafa I'd ease up on the physical side of things, and spend the time on tactics. (Just for a day to give them more rest.)

I first noticed the fatigue at Bolton. Sam screwed us a bit with the underpitch heating lies, but the whole team has looked jaded in the last 3 matches. It's not surprising, we've had great consistency in our squad this season. We've been lucky with injuries - compare this to the last couple of seasons: Carra, Alonso, Gerrard, Baros, Cisse - all fractured.

But because of the number of matches the players now looked tired. Hopefully the buildup and atmosphere to the Manc game will see us through.

Definitely. I agree with that bcos i'm also from malaysia. Back then, in 03/04 season, most of the glory seekers here support Arsenal. Now, every man and his brother can be spotted wearing chelski's shirt.  :no

you guys made some interesting points there.

1. late 60s ~ 70s ~ mid 80s - liverpool domination
2. mid 90s - the great surge of manure supporters
3. late 90s - 2001 - arsenal
4. 2003~200? - you know who

I would think that the greater deal of liverpool supporters are from no. 1. demographic.
We need to start winning more trophies if we wanted to see more people wear the coveted jersey.

how bout a little bit of optimisticism for a change? Sure being overconfident kills but come on, we've never had this much fun and joy since...well.. ever!

I thought this the other day... after our games in hand we could have 50 points from 22 games... only 8 short of last season's total with 16 games left!

As for the unbeaten run, it's in serious jeopardy on Sunday although I personally don't think we'll get beat (as long as the ref does his job properly). It's more likely to go at Stamford Bridge.

if anyone read my piece on stats they would see that its mainly to with the fact that at liverpool we have only let in goals by one team. chelsea scored 4 past us but no one else has scored passed us. if we can just keep doing what we are doing then we should be ok
