He seems to have gone unnoticed this season but he is one of our best players this term. He defends really well, always there at the right time in the right place and he tackles very well.

He gets forward very well, the way he is playing at the moment he reminds a bit of Gary Neville, getting past players and crossing quality balls into the box for the forwards to feed off, he is an unsung hero of the team.

He's a fantastic player, and has been consistently first rate ever since there were rumblings about him being sold when Josemi arrived at the beginning of last season.

For my money, the best right back in the Prem at this moment in time.

I thought he was the best performer of our back four today if I'm honest, with the signing of Kromkamp and Agger we now have real quality on our bench defensively.

The last few months...the best without a doubt.Carra and Sammi get the plaudits, but Finnan has been just as effective.

The unsung hero. IMO he's the most consistent player in every game, in a good way.

He does look like Hillary Swank / Matt Damon doesn't he?

Finnan's attitude has really shone through as let us not forget, he was very nearly out of the club at the beginning of last season (he was playing virtually right wing for the first game of the season at Spurs and was written off as a future Liverpool player by the pundits).

The praise he's getting is fully justified and I would certainly put him on a par at the mo with handsome Neville for the best RB in the Prem at this present time. He's one of the examples of overall improvement throughout the squad and the signing of Kromkamp will only serve to spur him on to becoming even better.

No.1 unsung hero  :buttrock  :bowdown

Even if Kronkamp is absolutelly class we'd have an excellent rotation player in Finnan. If he doesn't manage to play, I think there would be many teams knocking Liverpool's door in all Europe. Good Right Backs? there are not plenty of them. And his solid form, is not a matter of one game, but many
