So Gonzales, a rookie winger from Chile is going to turn our season around right. The kid is a young pup learning his trade and has never played a match in the premiership. Hes just starting out. Lets be realistic, if he was signing for any other team we wouldnt look twice at the deal. Because hes joining us we put on the red tinted glasses and the boys a superhero. I mean, he cant be can he, not yet at least. I havent seen him kick one ball least of all play a match. Gonzales to revive our floundering team? I doubt it.

parchpea we aren't saying that a 100% gonzalez is going to be a success, but that is what we are hoping for, we just need to be patient when he arrives.

I don't get it, we need a right winger quickly and Rafa has bought Gonzalez and is interested in Simao who also plays on the left? 
I presume he's looking at someone else in Jan as well as those two lads

Looks like the writing is on the wall for Kewell. Raffa never seems to show his hand, we may have a surprise.

He's right footed though isn't he? I'm sure there was a report which said he could play L/R or as a 2nd striker.

Paul you might want to do you homework a bit better next time. Simao can play on either left or right wing and so can Gonzalez but he's more a left winger than he is a RW.

Yeah Paul C, just like C Ron is a right winger but can also play on the left.
