He was of the opinion that raffa just does'nt rate him.
But the more we talked it occured to me that maybe raffa has been holding him back deliberately, knowing full well that as he does cisse's desire to play and score grows more.
Anyone can see that cisse wants to be at LFC and desperately wants to succeed.
It's kinda like greyhound racing, when they put the dog in the trap,it knows full well that soon it will see the hare, but the longer it is in the trap and made to wait, the harder it will run when it is let out and try better to catch the hare..if ya know what i mean

Maybe raffa has been doing this with cisse in the  hope to get the best out of him.
I may be wrong.......just a thought though

he might be reluctant but have no choice...with FM,Peter,Sinama-Pongolle not scoring...it would be suicide not to play him...

I think Cisse is a very confident person. His speed is exceptional but his finishing is really third rated. TBH, just look at his shot and not many of them were even close. If he could improve his shooting, he should perform just fine. Otherwise, we might need to look for other options. To me, Mellor and Sinama has better shooting skill than Cisse for sure. As for Nando and Crouch, I haven't seen enough to say but Nando maybe the best of the bunch but position wise, Mellor is the best.

Maybe resting Cisse and Crouch... Let the forwards, Garcia and Kewell, do the job up front as both preferred left foot to right and this will confused defenders... Supported behind by Alonso(equivalent to Gerrard's pin point passes) and Hamann(also equivalent to Gerrard's tackles).. Wingers providing crucial passes like Riise and Sinama... My 2 cents thought..

Cisse needs games not a rest, Crouch needs a rest 9 games on the trot, Cisse and Moro will probably start Crouch may get 20 mins for Morientes, depending on the score that is.

it certainly looks like morientes and cisse will start together from all the reports i've been reading - sounds like good news to me. a goal for each of them would be beautiful - confidence boosting for them and 3 points in the bag for us.

even though we are playing away i think we have to go in with an attacking mentality tonight as anderlecht have lost all of their last 10 champions league games. now is the time for liverpool to show a ruthless streak if ever there was one.

come on you red men! :buttrock

???

Cisse only came on for the last few minutes and we were losing at the time.
