Good post stu, good to see you back again. I agree our most concerning positions are on the wings and centre forward. I still think Rafa has his priority at centre back though because he has to be prepared for the possibility of a key player like Carragher or Hyypia getting a big injury, if that happened now it could destroy our season.
Joaquin is probably the best in his position in the world, if a player like that becomes available we should do what it takes to get him, it would be such a possitive move for the club on the field and in the public eye; it would make us look like premiership competitors!
One player you've left out of your assessment (not sure if anyone else mentioned this) is Gonzalez. There isn't a lot we could have seen of him over here except that stunner against Barcelona, but Rafa obviously rates him highly and we know about the detail he goes into. If he is the left winger Benitez is making out he is then this could be one position sewn up, he's 20 but will grow with experience.

I'm not just talking about this thread meelan. You've been like this with most of your posts since the day you joined.
Look at your signature for a start. Stu has stated he will not reply to any of your posts and I believe him. He has nothing to say to you. But if you and Stu end up rowing with each other and causing trouble on the boards, because you are deliberately trying to antagonise him, ruining threads etc... which I can definitely see happening, I'm telling you now, you will come off worse, not Stu.
