Ireland 0 France 1
A poor Irish performance was better than a poor French one, but only for some bad luck (i.e finishing) Ireland could have scored 3! Henry scored with a beautiful curler from 25 yards. From the moment it left his boot, he knew it was going in!! Was very gracious on post match interview! What was the gist on the England game?? Is Sven now focked?? Did Owen play?

Owen was absolute rubbish but you cant single just him out cause so where many others, Rooney lost his temper isses next game, I hate Rooney for manure but the lad has talent, he just has no one to guide him, sad really if he was born a red he could have been our new Fowler :(

owen was on the pitch but saying he played is going a bit too far. he clearly wasn't fit as he hasn't played a full competitive game this season.

Blackburn??
Sour grapes Lynds,at least have the respect to give a bit of praise where  its due!!
It was a very British game played in a very British style! End of story! If England would have won 1-0 you would have said unlucky N Ireland!
And there would have been no mention of Blackburn!
Expected more from yourself!! :no

  Ok im red faced!!
I am actually dissapointed with the result! A draw would have been great! We wont qualify and if England dont i probably wont even watch the finals!
But to say u cant be proud is wrong!!
Until Saturday N Ireland had not won a competetive game in 4 yrs!
A few months back N Ireland had not scored a goal in 14 GAMES!
So i apologise if i go to bed with a little bit of pride this fine night!
Its nothing personal, lets just hope the FA have got the wake up call that has been long overdue!

The way they went about in the early stages of the match, you wouldn't have noticed the difference. :D
