Transfer funds

I have been monitoring our money situation, and if we are bringing in a new centre back and right winger. How much do we have to spend??? we had 25million to spend at the start of the season and we spent about 20m of it already. however if we add on the transfer money we have recieved onto the left over money then we have about 10 million left. this is enough to get a decent right winger and a centre back.
another thing that has come to my attention is that if (sorry....when!) we get in the champions league we get an extra 10million. therefore we would have 20 million at our disposal! whether rafa spends all of it before august or saves some of it for the january window transfer window is unknown.
Basically what i am trying to get at is all though getting a striker is not priority, its more than possible for rafa to afford
upson(5million), malbranque(5million) and kuyt (10million)!
i believe the kuyt signing will happen if we get rid of baros, which would add more funds aswell!

Igor Biscan (free)
Bruno Cheyrou (loan)
Alou Diarra (2million)

Jon Otsemobor (released)
Richie Partridge (released)
Mauricio Pellegrino (released)
Vladimir Smicer (released)
Gregory Vignal (free)                            TOTAL- 12-13million
Milan Baros (7million)

I believe you haven't payed attention to the news lately.

Feyenoord made Kuyt captain, so I doubt that he would leave. Not only that but Feyenoord want 10 million pounds for him, something we didn't want to pay.

Secondly, Benitez today said that signing a striker is not a priority thus throwing your theory of buying Kuyt or any other striker for that matter out of the window.

he said its not priority, meaning buying a striker is not TOP of his list.
i wouldn't rule it out if baros leaves, there has been rumours of the kuyt signing reigniting, one for example-

If buying a CB and a RM is our main priority then it will be hard to buy Kuyt because Feyenoord are asking a lot of money for him.

If you read the article closely, both Kuyt and he agent haven't heard of new bids for him. Also Baros isn't going to Schalke because Schalke want him on a loan and we want to buy him.

The media is running out of players to link with us so they're bringing up players we've already been linked with.

They don't want to pay what we want which is 6-7 million.
