I hate to say this about my beloved game, but it seems very suspicious to me.  Could it be a planned match to minimise the potential of litigation from teams who get knocked out by Liverpool?  TNS are the team least likely to complain about the draw, and I think UEFA have put themselves at risk by changing the rules when there's millions of Euros at stake.  I don't think football is riddled with shady dealings, but they do happen.  I'm not implicating Liverpool or TNS but UEFA.

Conspiracy theroies???

Hmmm... then if what you say is true... then surely UEFA would have fixed it so that we played Everton first!! :)

Considering the teams involved I would imagine everybody would have wanted that Champions.

The revenue for clubs like that would be huge

TNS' dreams have come true

If we end up drawing Everton in the third round then you know it's fixed.

I'll put my house on the fact we WILL draw Everton come the 3rd round. Do you seriously believe UEFA are happy to see 5 English teams in the Champions League ......???

Anyway whatever happens Liverpool FC can holds their heads up high for the way they have conducted themselves throughout this debacle ....

Walk On ....

a good draw for us....basically a couple of pre-season friendlies....i expect to see 1/2 the first 11 start the match and then see others come on half time for the likes of Gerrard and Cisse.  I predict 6-0 at home and 5-0 away....

Thats got the potential to be very messy indeed.

Wouldn't be surprised if the game was rescheduled.  Can't believe its to be played on 12 July, what are the chances of that

This is well rigged, a lot of people were talking about this on the radio about drawing this team, and sure enough it's sorted.

this has got to be a total mismatch! I doubt rafa will risk a slip up and we'll probably play a full strenght team, or near enough,
we should just murder these 15-0!.

This whole thing is a scam, we should have been in the group stages by default anyway!

Expect us to be drawn against the scum or everton in round three!. my gut feeling.

This is Embarrassing , being in the draw with these kinds of teams. Uefa have totally fecked up!

total disrespect  and humiliation, to the defending champions.

To be honest i werent arsed wether we was in it or not, waliking round as a european champion was enough for me, we didnt have to defend it to boast, this is just a bonus, we are fortunate to be in it cos UEFA fooked up from the off but they have broke the rules to let us in at some way or another, werever we get this year is a bonus cos we are lucky to be in it end of, but i love it...at least we have made UEFA stand up and take notice at there sh!te rule
