In truth Ryan Giggs played for England despite being Welsh, Kanoute has represented and is from France but plays international football for Mali and Deco is a Portugese international despite the fact he was born and bread in Sao Bernardo do Campo in Brazil.

All Gerrard has said is that he keen to sit down and talk about a new contract .Nothing is agreed never mind signed sealed and delivered . Christ if it was up to me I be holding those talks with Gerrard tomorrow , while the fella is still buzzin ' about what he's achieved with us this season.

Gerrard will stay why would you leave a club who has just won the euro cup for a team that as won the league(never again)

and a micky mouse cup.Add the league and micky mouse money you get from it and you no where near get as close as as much as we earned.Gerrard will stay he knows we are just developing and we haven't even started to play footy yet and we still won the euro cup

Giggs played for england as a schoolboy, then defected to wales at full international level. I think his mum's welsh and dad's english so he could have played for either.

Wrong way round his dad's Welsh he came to Salford from Rugby Union to play Rugby League his Mum's English.
