Liverpool renew sponsorship

European champions Liverpool have extended their deal with shirt sponsors Carlsberg by two years.
"We have enjoyed an excellent relationship and look forward to continuing that in the future," said Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry.
"The partnership has been enormously successful over 13 years and we were delighted to extend it into what we hope will be a new era for the club."
The deal was finalised before the club's Champions League final triumph.

Carlsberg dont make deals like this but if they did, they'd be the best deals in the world.

Also read that Nike have told the Scum that "continued underachievement could be a problem " Nike have a get out clause in their £303 million deal with the Mancs that would allow them to walk away at the end of the 2007/2008 season .

Good- It means there wont be a manky LG logo on our shirt next season. I cant picture liverpool playing in a shirt without carlsberg on it

I would like to think they wrote something in the deal which gave us a few extra bob if we won the CL. I guess Carlsberg have stuck by Liverpool during some barren times so maybe Moores and Parry are repaying that by keeping the relations going. Likely they will be get a crate of export each if nothing else
