David moores - We salute you
Posted: Thu May 26, 2005 11:08 amI'm very proud to be a Liverpool fan. When I woke this morning the first words I uttered to my wife were "are we european champions or was I just having a fantastic dream ?"
I'm delighted for David Moores. It has been well documented how money is destroying football but last night our victory has given football hope. We are champions of europe and owned by a man who lives and breathes for the club. Last summer I envied how Chelski splashed out the big money and felt we needed an Abramovich of our own. Thank god that didn't materialise.
Liverpool football club belongs to the supporters and in Moores, Parry and Benitez is run by decent and honest football men.
