How heysel changed football - on c4 now - And a brief thought for travelling fans
Posted: Mon May 23, 2005 9:30 pmAbsolutely harrowing footage, very uneasy viewing, but a massive education to people that know little of the events of May 29 1985. I was only 7 when it happened, but the memories are there, and I must say I'm watching through glassy eyes.
I'm absolutely elated that we're in the CL final, but watching this has really made me think of those that are travelling tomorrow. I'm not suggesting for one second that anyone's travelling with any intent other than to have the time of their lives, but I just wanted to wish everyone that's making the trip a very safe journey.
