that letter was obviously written by a bitter c*nt. I know plenty of blues who would never blame lfc for there downfall. it is naive and bitter to blame heysel only on liverpool supporters

Unfortunatly this is a view held by many younger evertonians, who werent even born at the time of Heysel. They have been brought up on stories of Evertons greatness and how they were denied winning the European Cup by Liverpool hooligans.Make no mistake this is a common belief amongst these ignorant fools.I dont think anybody explained to them that qualyfying for the European Cup doesnt mean you are going to win it.Ask alex Ferguson.

he has a point, with some of the earlier comments in that letter or whatever it is.
even though im not bitter and i see the merseyside rivalry as one of the most friendly/but fiercely contested derby's in football

how does he have a point Dom?
Why is everton the only ones still moaning on about the ban? even though your in the CL, the ban effected alot of clubs not just Everton but yous are the only ones still banging on about it.
And P.S. we are the biggest club on merseyside and always will be.

Everton wasn't the only club affected by the ban, it was every English club and Everton are the only ones that are still moaning about it until this very day. Sad club, their ultimate goal has been to finish above us, theyve done that a total of three times, only three times.

So what now Moyes? 6-0 and still 15 minutes to go. Seems like you need 11 new players if you want to compete against european opponents. I can easily see everton go down in the qualifyers. Hopefully we will draw them iand knock them out of the uefa cup. So much for their 5 minutes in the sun.
