i wouldnt want this board to end up like a nazi regime or something where if you mention the word `carragher` in the wrong forum you will be sent to the salt mines or something.
lets lighten up and do what were all here to do - talk footy, and those of you who like order and world domination can post in your quasi - masonic secret society aka the advanced debate society...i mean forum.  :D
me, being a socialist i`ll stay with the other downtrodden workers and post here.  :;):

well said, i agree, 100%!!  :buttrock

agree totally aswell. all i suggest is a little more care taken when posting a new thread - it takes 2 minutes, or less, to have a quick scan and see if there are already the same or similar threads going. then, of course, we are all in the hands of the gods regarding the response we will be met with.

I couldn't agree more and exactly why I left another forum where the mods ended up being little Hitlers

i really can't understand what the big deal is,so what if you repeat the same topic as somebody else.when i log on to this forum i don't want to have to go through pages and pages,to make sure i don't repeat someone else,if you don't what to reply ,so what.but what i don't want is some smart ar*e telling me off.if you don't like it go f*ck yourself.i speak to lots of people during the day,but i don't say i'am not intrested in what you've got to say because someone asked me the same thing last week.! the whole problem with this forum is that there are to many smug b*stards on it.so do us all a favour get a life you sad tw*ts.

yckatbjywtbiastkamb, you have got my number completely mate!

kenco, chill out lad. no-one's telling you off or being a sad tw@t. you do what you like. i put over a point of view is all. i know i said at the end of the first post - "if anyone strongly disagrees with me let me know and i'll take it all back." - but i think you're a bit over the top kidda.

anyway - i've never said this to anyone on the forum before but i feel like now... kenco, f*ck off! :D

i find it mildly irritating myself mate but not to the extent were i start calling people sad ******, smug ****** and telling them to go ****** themselves. i agree with your sentiments regarding meeting people in `real` life so why dont you practice what you preach on here?
i dont know you mate but reading your posts you seem to know your footy and have been supporting us for longer than five minutes so you come up with some knowledgable remarks that i find interesting to read but their always hidden in a tirade of swearwords and insults.now like myself, i gather your a grown man who wont see 30 again and i`m certainly not in the business of telling other fella`s how to conduct themselves and believe me, the last thing i want to do is patronize another fella especially you mate or anyone else on here for that matter ,but it costs ****** all to be pleasant to people, wether you agree with them or not.

I think what this all boils down to is a sensible approach to posting new topics, fair enough there's always going to be new members who post a topic without knowing it's been done last week or whenever, or when you know there's a similar topic somewhere else but it was so long ago it'll take you all day to find it. Nobody's got a problem with that (well, nobody apart from Leon  :D  )

But what a lot of people find really f*cking irritating is when there's 6 threads on the front page of the discussion forum all saying "Gerrard - leaving or staying"  or after a game there will be 748 threads saying "tonight's game"

I'm not suggesting people get completely anal about finding existing topics but a bit of common sense and a little bit of effort sometimes would make this forum a much easier place to be for all of us

Oh yeah and, Kenco - f*ck off   :rasp

I agree ...most of the repeat threads occur after a major event..a game,a wild inaccurate report of an impending arrival/departure or a member getting up someone elses nose.I will always try to rectify such happenings but don't lose sleep over it.
