Looks fishy to me - maybe he did it to try and deflect attention from the government's Libya stuff? Really, can anybody explain to me why Straw suddenly decided to let Shields go when we've all known he's innocent for years and years?

i do think jack straw has dragged his heels and michael could have been freed a lot sooner but he is out and thats all that matters.
