Rafa IMO needs an assistant and needs one now. I know Rafa and Pako had some disputes but they've known each other for a long time so surely they can sought out thier differences.

VORONIN AND KUYT ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
meaning big matches like this, both were really pointless ...sure play them against the derbys and middelsboros of this world but not in the big games, they simply dont have the quality to do the things we needed going forward
benayoun has guile and babel has pace
why didnt they start in the 433 type formation.

on a positive note i thought that alonso and mascherano both showed that they are big match players
also mascherano is soo much better in a midfield 3
when its a midfield two he really struggles, but in a 3 he can just do what hes good at, tackling, cleaning up and playing it 5 yards
