On thing to be grateful about though is the saftety netting above although it wont stop people peeing on us it will help with the missiles which is what we suffered in the Galatasaray stadium.

Ive spoken to a few Turks down hear and they reckon the Besiktas fans are alright compared to the other two Istanbul teams Fenerbache and Galatasaray and that the Inonu stadium is not all that bad as well
I hope so

Take a generator in with you, and if they p*ss on you - electrocute the bassards! :D

Safe trip lad.

where does the footy talk for this game go?  Its quite a vital match considering we only have 1 point from 2 games.  .tv seems to think that both Alonso and Torres could make this their comeback game.  I know Alonso was on really good form before his injury but I would be a little worried about him being rusty, and playing him offers both high risk and high reward.  I would hope to see Crouch and Pennant make the start, we need some creativity in the side as well as a clear target for crosses and set pieces. It would be really nice if they other game resulted in a draw.  :D

alonso was a huge loss. didn't really appreciate him until he was gone and neither of his replacements can pass well. agger was missed even more as hyypias pace continues to be exposed. hopefully both of those players are back for tuesday. we should play our stronngest side here and on sunday.
