In this post I'll put the Standings and General Standings later. Below this post, give your points of the PSV home leg. The more votes we get, the better it will grasp the ratings of the forum as a whole.

Thanks.

P.S. We have a new leader.

3 points Alonso, his minutes were good, good tackles, put order in our midfield

2 points Fowler, His awareness brought the goal, and he played well, like in the play that brought a Zenden freekick

1 Pennant Should have scored in that last chance, but good first half.

Alonso 3, Pennant 2, Arbeloa 1.

Thought Alonso’s passing and vision was world class last night, showed that he is in a different class to the rest when it comes to distributing the ball.

Pennant again looked like he's finally getting to grips with the pressure of playing for us, he's had some good performances for us lately.

what a buy Arbeloa is turning out to be. left or right back he looks comfortable, Rafa has pulled one out of the bag there.

3 alonso can't really say much but great game!
2 zenden gets criticised often but imho can beat his man better in a 1 on 1 than any other of our left wingers (excepting kewell)
1 fowler a couple of poor touches let him down (probably be due to lack of match practice/sharpness) but otherwise on a par with bolo's performance

Riise is the only player with significant time since this started who hasn't netted a point, and granted his form for the season hasn't been all that great but I find it interesting since he did score a goal against PSV (it was the number 2 play of the whole week in all of sports on sportscenter :D  )

And I guess Gonzalez, Momo, Bellamy, and Hyypia havent scored on the standings list either, but I think riise has played the  most out of all of them.

---------------------------------------------------------

Things are getting tighter in the top of the table, there's a draw between Crouch and Gerrard.

General standings  table would suggest that in the last games Pennant is playing pretty well, that's interesting since I've counted many Pennant doubters here in the last months :)

Comments are Welcome, points of the next game below this post.

Thanks.
