Thats a pretty awful line-up, how that Kvarme fella ever passed as a footballer I will never know .

I remember when we first signed Kvarme, he started off quite brightly, looked pretty quick and like he would be a decent defender, but he got steadily worse and in the end was the main fault in one of my worst derby memories (Cadamarteri's goal, when he beat him twice)
Leonhardson i really did not like, he's sort of like Zenden now...neat and tidy but with no real pace and doesnt really offer anything at all. He kept young Davie Thompson out of the team as well which was ridiculous as Thommo was by far a better player but wasnt signed for 4 million. :angry:

When I think of Kvarme that goal at Goodison instantly springs to mind, that was a very embarrising moment for us, especially against the bitters.

That may be Bordeaux's worst team of the last 10 years...so many poor player cost us so much money....that was unbelievable!

I'm glad to play against Liverpool in CL, but don't be so happy, we won't have such a team against you! :;):
