We've suffered a setback with the Villa and WBA games in recent weeks where we should have picked up an extra 4 points. But we're still in the driving seat.
Take a look at the fixtures below for the top 7 teams against each other.

ARSENAL
Liverpool AWAY
Manure HOME
Tottenham AWAY
Chelsea AWAY
Man City HOME
Everton AWAY

MAN CITY
Chelsea HOME
Manure AWAY
Liverpool AWAY
Arsenal AWAY
Everton AWAY

CHELSEA
Man City AWAY
Tottenham HOME
Everton HOME
Arsenal HOME
Liverpool AWAY

LIVERPOOL
Arsenal HOME
Manure AWAY
Tottenham HOME
Man City HOME
Chelsea HOME

EVERTON
Tottenham AWAY
Chelsea AWAY
Arsenal HOME
Manure HOME
Man City HOME

TOTTENHAM
Everton HOME
Chelsea AWAY
Arsenal HOME
Liverpool AWAY

MANURE
Arsenal AWAY
Liverpool HOME
Man City HOME
Everton AWAY

Home games counts for nothing seeing how unpredictable we can be and the number of injuries we have, but we have a massive advantage over Arsenal and City who have very tough away games to come. Plus point is, it's easier to predict that Liverpool will give the top 6 teams a good fight as we always do but then and now we would drop points against teams in the lower half. The defense is worrying as many goals conceded have been errors due to individuals and a lapse of concentration.

It is very very possible that we could even finish 3rd this season. Chelsea will be our closest rivals, but if Moyes and Sherwood can get their Sh*t together, Spurs or Manure has a very good chance of grabbing the 4th spot seeing that they have already faced most of their rivals. I don't think Everton has what it takes to last seeing their lack of depth especially since their only recognized striker now is Naismith.

I dont want to sound cliche but we really need to take one game at a time.

Starting with the Arsenal game at home a 3 points is a must

Hopefully Sakho or Agger are back soon

I agree, I think most of us would have saw the Villa and West Brom games as bankers and the Everton game as a potential banana skin so it just goes to show you can't count your chickens or take anything for granted.
I don't fancy us at all against Arsenal so that probably means we'll batter them about 5-0

Six more wins out of thirteen matches, come on! We need to see off Fulham.

I haven't done the math Kazza, are you saying just six more wins will guarantee us a CL place ?   :buttrock

No way. We'll need at least 7 more wins and it will also depend on how many more we lose and draw (if we win 7 and lose 6 we'll be lucky if we're 6th). I think that the maximum amount of points that we can lose from our remaining 13 games is 12 points.

No one has ever not qualified for CL when they won 21 matches except Spurs last year. We have 15 wins so far so I figure six more wins we would be unlucky not to get it but seven more wins we are guaranteed CL football. Seven more wins out of our remaining fixtures is so probable that it is really is ours to lose.

Our remaining fixtures

Fulham vs Liverpool

Sunday 23rd February 2014
Liverpool vs Swansea

March 2014
Saturday 1st March 2014

Sunday 16th March 2014

Saturday 22nd March 2014
Cardiff vs Liverpool

Sunday 30th March 2014

April 2014
Saturday 5th April 2014
  West Ham vs Liverpool

Saturday 12th April 2014

Saturday 26th April 2014
Liverpool vs Chelsea

May 2014

For once I can say I am confident of getting there (top 4) even though we are notorious at throwing away points against lesser opposition. I'm sure we will have a few more disappointments but surely not enough to keep us down.

Suarez looks really hungry for more goals since he has not scored himself in a few games now, you just know some team is going to cop it sweet, just hope it's manure, city or Chelsea who we humble next.

I'm also pretty confident of us getting top four even with a few disappointments. Mainly as with Citeh result yesterday shows all the top clubs have dropped points against so called lesser opposition.

12 points in the next 4 games could easily be achieved especially with the way we demolished Arsenal.

I think we could have our eyes set on taking 3rd and get automatic qualification

Agreed, we've really got to out and get 3 points against Fulham now, I reckon the players will be buzzing for this one.

For this LFC team is has been around one thing only and that's ENERGY ,we are good enough to beat anyone any where ,as long as we come to every game motivated ,committed with full energy.
We aren't talented enough to come at half throttle ,this won't work even against the weakest of the bunch.
If BR can keep the team motivated and prepared for each and every game ,CL spot is a given.
