with nowotny our captain is missing. juan and roque junior are the inner defense of the basilian national team. robson ponte is something like the head of our offense. landon donovan is a great player but it was his first game in europe he made in the starting lineup. we have a great first team but if someone is injured or something, we have only a few players to change and don´t have the abilities of liverpool. we tried it with a very offensive lineup but because of two individual mistakes liverpool shot two early goals. we failed but we are proud to make it to the ...hm hm- achtelfinale. :-) the team wich played gave everything they had to give but it was not enough.

Yes Rent . Your team looked stronger and more dangerous when you played at Anfield .
Many of us were expecting a harder game in the second leg.

maybe leverkusen didnt play well, but we didnt let them play well.
credit where its due lads, we outplayed a team that has a fantastic home record. we worked hard all through the pitch, thats why we won.
