Did you see some of the goals he scored last year- total class, possibly the best finisher in the world. Okay he may be overweight and slightly lazy but he still scored around 30 goals last year and it's not as easy as you claim to score that many goals in the spanish league.

It amazes me how footballers can possibly be over weight when thet train or play every day. If Ronaldo comes to Liverpool he should be strapped to a thread mill for at least a week without a break.

Good one, Sean. Funny - lol.
Whatever we say about him, he has shown that he is still a great striker, even if he is a wee bit overwheight and may have lost some of his speed due to that. I just don't think he'd care to have a lot of physical battles with the opposition players if he ever comes to the premiership. not at his present age and with his current status as one of the top players. Perhaps after his stint in PSV would have been the best time.
I think he'd find the premiership too much physical and would seek a move at the first opportunity.

Et'to is seriously being chased by Barca and Real only have a 50% ownership of him owing to a complex deal they made with his present club, Mallorca if I am not mistaken.

Sorry, wrong spelling. It is Samuel Eto'o who had a good season last year.

I'd do cartwheels for a week if Ronaldo was exchanged for Owen.
He is one of the few genuine matchwinners playing football today. Did you see what he did to Man Utd in the Champions League? There's not a defender in the premier league that could contain him.
As far as I'm concerned, he can be twice as fat and play only half the season, and he'd still score 30 goals.
I'd rather a fat Ronaldo than a fathead van Nistelrooy.
Bring it on
