Excellent win,two great goals from Crouchy & Kuyt,a bit worried when they got scored (acording to Five Live it looked about 2 or 3 yards offside) but luckily Rafa did the slipping up for the team instead! :D

Can't wait till Saturday, let's teach those Bitters a real lesson. :)

Why what did he do apart from run into the channels and be off side again?

I got the feeling that after the second goal went in the mentality then became this is a training session for Saturday's game.
The teams concentration on the whole went right out of the window, passes went astray too easily, tackles were miss timed, Alonso seemed to go WEST for 30 seconds trying to re-design Reo-Cokers shirt for him ??? and simple clearances were panicked and rushed. The only thing that went to form was Pennants shitness re-emerged :p .

Ciggy, you are being a bit harsh on Bellamy, he may not score 20+ goals, but he works his socks off and his pace and desire to work will give problems to any defence. We have had both Kuyt and Bellamy turning on man-of-the-match performances in their work for teammates and strike partners while not registering goals of their own. Our main problem in attack has been the flanks, where we lack penetrative runs from the natural wide players and also consistent crosses.

Finnan and Riise has done much better overall than our specialise wide men, Pennant and Gonzalez.

A win, 3 points and a couple of cracking goals, may as well take Mascherano off their hands while we are there and leave them with nothing :D

Thought Pennant was a bit lazy when he came on. Sometimes he looks like he needs a good kick up the ar*e. He gave away possession for the (offside) goal, and generally he was slow to close players down, and did seem to give a f*ck when they went passed him. I not sure he's got the sheer will to win to cut it at Liverpool.

3 points in the bag! In all honesty it was an easy game on paper but Curbishly had them set out to disrupt our passing game...most of the time it worked! He knew our strength was the ability to out football them.He sent his team out there and they hardly have us an inch all night.Unfortunately for the Hammers our quality shone through in the end.
Ask any LFC player if you could and im sure they would tell you that was a very hard game of football...it looked it where i was sitting anyway!Earlier in the season that was exactly the type of game we would have drawn or maybe lost...Theres a lot to be said for confidence and what comes with it...tonight showed that.

I really dont like doing player ratings because i think the team should be rated as a whole..i don't like being negative either but Pennant was embaressing tonight when he came on....maybe that goal he scored has gone to his head?
He made a fu.ck up that came to a goal against us then proceeded to loose his cool twice and mouthed off for no real reason other than arrogance.I said at the weekend that there was a thin line between self belief and arrogance and i felt Pennant was on the right side of it....now im not sure.

Anyway, good result tonight and a good display by the team in an unpretty match.............3 points!!

Walk on Redmen! :buttrock

Because Crouch runs more of the pitch than any other player he covers 11 kilometers per match more than any other player god help him if he played a whole game.
Saving him for the bitters lar Lescott in yer face son in yer face, not that that kunt needs anything more doing to his face.
God arnt I horrible I sound like Danielle Lloyd

Them channel runs create spaces for other players to run into.  His unselfishniss created chances tonight for others also him getting caught of side, i bet if you watched them back he wouldnt be of side its just that hes so fast he gets pulled back by the blind officals.

Everyone has there own views and mine is Bellamy has been great since that court case.  Anyone else agree? or im I watching a different game?

Until and unless he proves otherwise by upping his eforts and general overall play, that goal against Chelsea by Pennant is a one-off fluke to me. I'm still not convinced by him.

Thought it was a comfortable game except when the linesman :censored: us over as usual and gave them an offside goal, that gave them a bit of confidence and lifted the fans and Pennants inability to keep the ball showed and we kept inviting pressure on to us.

Reina was excellent today, there were a few difficult crosses and shots that came at him quickly and bobbled but he didnt spill any of them. He was my man of the match

Agree,Reina was faultless and looked very confident, showed no fear, came out when he needed to stayed on his line when he should have and never made a bad decision!

He has been great for us lately and is looking like the keeper we expect and deserve!
