Lfc.tv to reduce message board opening hours

Liverpoolfc.tv would like to inform all fans of forthcoming changes to our online Message Boards.
Liverpoolfc.tv takes its legal responsibilities to users extremely seriously and, for this reason, has always ensured that our Message Board service is fully moderated by a professional 3rd party moderation company.

However, the ever-increasing volumes of messages posted on the boards mean that the costs associated with moderating the content have spiralled to unsustainable levels. That being the case, we have had to take the decision to reduce the Message Board opening hours from the current 13.5 hours a day, to 6 hours a day.

These changes will NOT affect the e-Season Ticket forum (used by e-Season Ticket holders). This forum will continue to be open for the extended hours (9.30am - 11.00pm, 7 days a week).

From 2nd January, non e-ST forums will be open as follows:

Non-match-days: 10am - 1pm / 4pm - 7pm

Weekend match-days: Open KO time minus 2 hours / Close KO time plus 4 hours

Weekday match-days: 10am - 1pm / Open KO time minus 1hr / Close KO time plus 2hrs

We appreciate that many fans will be disappointed at the reduction in opening hours and we regret that it has been necessary. However, in the current environment, an unmoderated, or unprofessionally moderated, Message Board is not something we are able to consider. We did not want to charge for access and so this left reduced hours as the only viable way of controlling costs.

We do hope that, despite the reduced hours, the Message Boards will continue to be an active, vibrant and useful forum that can be enjoyed by all fans.

I tried the official LfC website but its full of "Hustler" types venting their spleen and having no brains to back their opinions up ???

Well you missed nothin'..in fact if you posted something, went away to make a cuppa, your thread was lost under 2000 posts that flooded in whilst you were pouring the milk.

I started off on LFCTv but there's about 5 million members so as soon as you post there's about 50 newer ones straight away. Not a forum at all, more like a (very) temporary grafitti wall

Found this place about 2 hours later and forgot all about LFC TV  :)
