Apparently carrick was going to everton becuase he thought there would be limited chances in the first team of arsenal but liverpool have reported to enter the race and the signature is close.

If we sign carrick do u think we'll get alonso? i doubt it

am jus hoping if we gets carrick who no doubt is a fairly good player and has a very very bright future ahead of him we stll get alosno because i think alonso could turn up the friday b4 the spurs game and play in there without any problems and be able to link up well with our current players thats how highly i rate him, ive seen him play alot and he looks a assured, class on the ball and has gr8 vision and on top of all that hes gotta be half decent in the air as hes 6 foot 4 inches!!! lol

I meant if we get a right midfield and a CB from the money we get from selling owen, we would be a more complete team. Baros and Cisse should be ok.

selling owen would be our downfall, baros has played in EPL and wots his done gave a few good performances and done well in euro but stilld soent take into account his actually ability to score goals, cisse not proven yet but am sure he'll scare every defenders in the lge but owens proven has 1 of the best game to goal ratio's around c'mon give the guy a break hes probably 1 of the best strikers we've ever had and is up there easily with the rushes n the fowlers

Defo i agree, all the goals and games won and you would wave goodbye , just like he was Sean Dundee. :suspect:

The rumors will continue though untill he signs.

if his hearts not in it and doesnt want to play for us then he should be sold before we lose him for free.

i hope this isnt the case though and he has stated that he definately wont do a mcmanaman

he sed he'll never do that 2 liverpool so y u getting on the guys back hes a legend and if we sell theres only 1 way liverpool will be going and it aint up

LFC will never die due to owen goin, One player does not make the team i am sure as was done before Keegan to Dalglish we will find a replacement.

No one player is bigger than the club.
