Paul Jones saves a penalty for Wolves from Alan Shearer in the last minutes of the game today.
NICE ONE MR JONES
Newcastle now need to win both of their final games this season, including against us to pip us to that coveted fourth place.
Few FACTS for you.........
Newcastle have only won twice away from home all season.
Last away win for the barcodes was six and a half months ago.
Newcastle games Southampton (St Marys) Liverpool (ANfield).
Looks good guys.
I hope they fail to beat Southhampton on Wednesday and it can then be a nice day out for the lads on Saturday, and we can sing the song that has rang in my ears all this season to the toon army . . . . . .

God bless you Paul...Southampton away is not going to be easy for the stumbling Toons. We might well be confirmed 4th before facing them at home.

we were shi1e today and against marseille and against man city, but relax
last 2 games we can do it, shola is the key
lee bowyer is hitting form, and if laurent robert doesnt play weve always got a chance.
you cant put todays result down to shearers miss, it was a good save and the whole team bar lee bowyer was disgusting.

footballs a funny game man, a few years ago youd won every cup you could and finished 2nd in the league, and how come its gone horribly wrong since then ?
gerrard has carried you this season, he has been immense, hes the only reason why you are in pole position for 4th
we can beat soton and youz as long as we dont bottle it, i hope bellers is back for the liverpool game

Shearer is the best English penalty taker right now. It really says something about Newcastles form..

i live in the north east and i have to say that newcastle fans are some of the most arrogant i've come across.
they've won nowt for 40 years, yet they think because they finished 3rd last season (despite losing 3 more games than us) and getting to the champions league second phase (after losing 6 matches out of 11), they are a big club. one geordie the other day said they are a bigger club than us just because they get more fans through the turnstyles every week. 
without shearer they would be absolutely nowhere. people can't say that about owen because we have been without him for 3 months and are still 4th.
