well said benny, the man was so much more than a football manager, it`s hard to convey how huge a figure he was in this city.
he was bigger than the beatles in their own hometown at the height of beatlemania, more people lined the streets to see bill shankly bring the f.a cup back to liverpool than to see the beatles homecoming from the states.

You dont have to have been around in his time to realise how iconic Bill Shankly was, every video clip i have seen of his him is inspiring and this club would be absolutely nothing without him.

A true football visionary ,who left a legacy that still resounds around Anfield every time the Kop is in full voice.
A man with a passion and love unsurpassed for this glorious club ,who made every last second he had as Liverpool
manager stand for something worthy of remembrance, the man was a genuine force of nature who made the
name of this club renowned throughout the football world.

His love for the people of Liverpool will remain unrequited ,because how could we possibly hope to reciprocate the
extent of the love William Shankly of Glenbuck Scotland bestowed on this club and its fans unconditionally.
